Since March 2014, the Department of Comprehensive Metabology was established in Kanazawa/Chiba/Nagasaki University Joint Graduate School of Advanced Preventive Medicine, and Dr. Toshinari Takamura was appointed as the first professor. The department also serves as the Department of Endocrinology and Metabolism at the Graduate School of Medical Sciences and at the Kanazawa University Hospital.
We will make efforts to develop original research and good clinical doctors.

2014年3月付で金沢大学医学系に新分野として共同（金沢・千葉・長崎大学）大学院先進予防医学研究科 包括的代謝学分野が創設され、初代教授として篁 俊成が着任しました。大学院医学系研究科では内分泌・代謝内科学分野を兼任し、附属病院では内分泌・代謝内科の臨床を担当しています。創設から間もない教室ですが、一歩一歩、独創的な研究と良き臨床医の育成に努めていく所存です。
